Let Us Be Generous

PROVERBS 22:9

A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.


The holidays are right around the corner. The excitement, smells, fellowship, decorations, all help get us in the mood to celebrate. My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love to cook and I love to see my children excited.

I know everyone may be a bit apprehensive about the holidays with the economy unsteady and we may not be able to celebrate as extravagantly as in the past. But let us not forget the needs of those who have little or nothing to celebrate with. It is in these times that they need us even more.

So as you are setting money aside to gear up for the holidays please consider taking a portion of that to give to those in need. God Bless~
